Testimonials

I have great support through a local mom's group, yet even with all the great advice they've shared this class was full of new information of my infants sleep.

It was particularly valuable in setting expectations for me as a new parent. I now feel better equipped for the months ahead and I've stopped second guessing some tough decisions regarding my baby's safe sleep habits. I know now I have good information and I made the right decision for my family.

Suzanne is extremely knowledgeable. Her calm and caring demeanor makes me very confident in the information I gained.

- Katherine, mom to 7week old

"Suzanne brought such a warm and supportive presence into our stressful and exhausting toddler sleep situation! She communicated effectively and provided many educated and insightful suggestions on how we might support our little one through their sleep challenges.

Having Suzanne’s support also gave me a profound opportunity for personal growth! Through our discussions, I found peace, where there had previously been so much anxiety and my connection with and understanding of my child, has grown even deeper as a result of having Suzanne in my corner. I am so thankful!"

- Julia, mom to 4 year old

“Suzanne was lovely! Suzanne helped with making food, baking, housework, infant support, breastfeeding assistance, research, information and just providing company and conversation. She started an online group for new moms to come together and support each other. She was very proactive about PPE and I always felt comfortable having her in my house despite being in a pandemic. She is caring and compassionate and has a genuine passion for Moms and their babies. She is a wonderful doula and I have been so thankful for her support.”

— Dayna, mom of 7 week old

“I met Suzanne when she offered a wonderful postpartum group over zoom for new moms isolated during the pandemic. Since then we have had a couple of sleep coaching consults with her.

For the past couple of months, our now 11 month old had been waking for the day around 4am and refusing to go back down. After meeting with Suzanne this past weekend and implementing a couple of her basic and gentle tools, our little one slept straight through until 6am one morning, the next morning woke around 4am for her feed and went back down until just before 7, and today slept straight through til 7am!

Suzanne listens to your family's unique situation and needs and offers advice that can be easily put into place without the need for any harsher sleep training.

Suzanne is a lovely and empathetic woman who is easy to talk to. I highly recommend you check her out for Doula and Sleep Coaching services!”

- Denise, mom of 11 month old

“Since the day my son Adrien was born we have had challenges getting him to sleep. As a newborn, he would wake up every 20 minutes all night long. As he grew into a toddler he started to sleep a bit better but that all changed when we retired his soother, the bottle, and had him potty trained. At that time my husband and I considered hiring a sleep trainer but unfortunately, Adrien ended up having baby asthma which landed us in the hospital every month (many overnight visits). This made it almost impossible for us to keep a consistent bedtime routine. Thankfully, Adrien's asthma is much more under control, that said we continue to have new sleep challenges including what feels like a never-ending bedtime routine. On average it would take us over two hours to get him to bed. He wouldn't (couldn't) settle down. Things were feeling impossibly difficult and exhausting and so my husband and I decided to work with an infant sleep coach. My initial thoughts of a sleep coach were that it would be rigid, harsh, and difficult - but possibly worth it in the end. When I first corresponded with Suzanne I immediately could feel her passion for children and for helping families. After spending some time getting to know our family and our lifestyle she offered us an array of tools and a customized approach to fit Adrien's needs as well as our own. Her solutions and suggestions were not harsh at all. In fact, they were simple and loving - yet amazingly effective. From visual aids to calming techniques to answering many of our VERY specific questions we found that after approximately 2 weeks Adrien was consistently (and happily) able to get to bed with lights out by 8:15 (and asleep shortly after). We were surprised at how well he took to Suzanne's techniques. Our overall bedtime routine now takes 1 hour which is what we chose for ourselves as my husband and I like to wind down with him and we view this as quality time. We couldn't be happier and thankful to Suzanne for helping us. She comes with understanding, knowledge which translated to a clear and realistic path to get our sleep issues resolved. I highly recommend Suzanne for any parents that are sleep deprived. It's not too late and there are tools to help overcome the challenges.”
